shop Transition from Wordpress to Squarespace

Madame Rae Rae

After endless shop breakages and difficulty managing their Wordpress website, this client wanted a simpler backend to engage. Someone suggested Squarespace might be a good alternative and we got to work planning what would be needed on this new website. We rewrote the copy with a fresh engaging vibe that suited the personality of the Madame Rae Rae brand, even including a cheeky 404 page. The result is a fun, new e-commerce store that is so much easier to manage for the store owner and gives her lots of room to grow.

What I did

  • Copy

  • Design and Layout

  • E-commerce Setup

  • Colour and Font Selections

  • DNS setup and transfer

Rae Torres - Owner, Madame Rae Rae

“Stitch Strategy created a new website for my online antique store. Throughout the process Jaye was collaborative and communication was highly effective. On some occasions I found the technical side of the process to be beyond my depth of knowledge. Jaye was able to patiently walk me through these moments, at the same time, keeping my confidence intact. Not only did I find Jaye to be highly competent in the technical side of things, but I was delighted to discover that she brought to my new website a highly creative dimension, in visuals, layout and in her creative strength as a writer. I am so happy with my new website and I would highly recommend anyone to seek out Stitch Strategy.”
